A Treasure with Eternal Value

God has made Himself known to us, therefore we now see the world by the light of the Holy Spirit, and through the lens of the Word of God. This special knowledge carries with it the responsibility to teach others the reality of the kingdom of God.

If we are blessed with a family, then imparting to our children a biblical worldview is one of our highest priorities. This is accomplished by providing a consistent message of faith through proper instruction which is reinforced in church, home, and school.

Properly instructing our children is half the battle.  The life we live in front of our children everyday speaks louder than the words we teach.  We must learn to walk the walk.

Our Vision

It's Time To Start A Christian School

I remember clearly the time when my Lord Jesus provided clear direction for my life.  I was attending a men's retreat in Kansas City during the spring of 1996. The main speaker at the retreat was moving towards the platform while the large room began to fill up. I settled into my seat and watched as the speaker and other leaders in front began to discuss quietly among themselves. Suddenly an awareness of the presence of God came over me and I heard the voice of my Lord… “I want you to set up a business helping pastors start Christian schools.”

Months later as I prayed about this new calling on my life, God began to give me a sense of what was in His heart for children and why was He leading me in this direction. I began to see at least four reasons why God was leading Pastors to start Christian schools.

1. God was hearing the cries from the hearts of children all across the country. They were in situations that were too difficult for them and they didn’t know where to turn. Parents often tell their kids to “toughen up” and “you’ll be fine”, however sometimes kids just need to be rescued. God wants to rescue His children.

2. God’s original intention for this nation was to have the education of children take place under the covering of church leadership. Our first schools met in churches and were under the care of area Pastors. Our first colleges were designed to train the best students to become church leaders. God wants to restore our nation’s schools to His original intention of having the education of children under the care and authority of local churches.

3. Our local public schools have declined over the years. They are not the same school as when we were kids.  The removal of support for the Christian faith has led to a humanistic environment that is hostile to everything Christian. This hostility has produced schools that have become faith destroying institutions. It is very difficult for a Christian student to maintain his/her walk with God while attending public schools.

4. God is preparing schools for the children of revival.  I have always had a growing expectation of a wonderful revival sweeping across our nation leading many people to come to the saving grace of Jesus.  I believe that revival is right at the door and that God wants to use Christian schools to nurture children in the faith.

My vision is to see an excellent Christian school in every community, and in every church.  We need to be able to impart the things that we know to be true to our children at church, home, and school.  Job 38:36 asks "Who has put wisdom in the innermost being, or has given understanding to the mind"? We must acknowledge the role of God in the education of our children.

Being comfortable with diversity is important, but when it comes to faith the idea of the melting pot fails us.  There is only one God, one truth, one faith, one baptism, and one Lord of all, Jesus Christ.  We can't raise our children to accept a faith that is a blending of all belief systems.  We should raise them to know and believe the truth alone.

If you want your child to follow his desire to be a great basketball player, you send him to a school that has an outstanding basketball program.  You certainly would not send him to a school that does not allow a basketball on school grounds, and does not allow teachers to mention anything about basketball in the classroom.  In the same way, how can we send our children, who all have a calling from God to follow Jesus, to a school that does not allow the mention of God in the classroom?  We can't, and we shouldn't.
